This site is all about strength. It’s about reaching outwards, upwards, and inwards to connect with reservoirs of courage and resilience that we never knew were there.
“Higher than me” is inspired by the powerful words of Psalm 61:2
“From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
I consider the source of my strength to be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the God of the Old and New Testaments; God the Father, his Son Jesus (Yeshua, as we say in Hebrew) and his Holy Spirit who lives within us. He is my comforter, my healer, the lifter of my head, and the fountain that never runs dry.
If you do not share the same faith as me, I want you to know that you’re also welcome here. I will not preach at you or condemn you. If you are prepared to take the risk and carry on reading despite my faith, I believe that you, too, will find ideas and perspectives that will help you move towards greater strength, wholeness, and integration.
Come and join me now as we embark upon a journey to a higher rock!
